experience utilisateur

Hyper-connectivity brings new requirements from all users. More than rapid execution of certain tasks, experience through applications must be intuitive, fluid, and therefore supported by powerful tools. Digital Experience Management or DEM is different from a simple network or application measurement. It allows to measure the real feeling of users.

In this complex digital movement, how to make users live a successful experience that will optimize efficiency at work?

First, what is a successful experience? The user has to be able to complete his tasks without latency, while keeping a pleasant feel to their execution.

Powerful business applications

After highlighting everyone’s needs for adoption of a new tool, companies have two choices: develop an in-house application, or choose a SaaS provider. The functionalities, technical aspect, and the interfacing with the existing system are key factors for decision-making. However, we must not forget the intuitive aspect to which UX Design responds. This ergonomic approach gives a real feeling of desirability to the tool because it is identified as useful and efficient. Once these aspects have been validated, the IT Systems Department is responsible for evaluating end-user experience.

Factualize user experience

Experience is a mix between pure analysis based on numbers, and a feeling which is unique to the user. By analyzing the performance of a tool, it is possible to verify different aspects that have an impact: cloud availability, response time, network fluidity, analysis of interactions with the customer, etc….

It is not rare that in mid caps and very large companies, 100 or 200 employees are connected to the same application at the same time. All these factors have a direct impact on productivity and well-being of users.

To factualize the experience of these collaborators, it requires data that is as close as possible to reality. In this way, implementation of business scenarios run in the same environment allows a good understanding of user experience, and provides factual elements.

What challenges for the user experience?

The trend of mobility influence needs/desires on the workplace. IT Systems Department must take a proactive approach, providing a smooth relationship between the Information System stakeholders and employees. User experience-oriented IT supervision is now the backbone of a continuous evaluation of IS. Pure application performance, network strength, and user scenarios are the keys to a global and unified vision. Try Digital Experience Management !
